Well we had to do it. I had 2 Condaria figs that were palm sized and another loaf of that fig bread in the fridge waiting to be cut.

Starting out with Fig Bread slices I added some whipped cream cheese then fig slices.

After sprinkling on the sugar into the oven they went @ 375 degrees. I refill the sugar container from a bag, it's not as old as the container. The container fits in our "Baking Cabinet" much easier than the bags.

After baking for 9 minutes I turned the broiler on for 1 more minute caramelizing the sugar. Now the bottom of the slices are toasted, the cream cheese bubbling and just starting to brown and the sugar caramelized.

Now a long wait for more figs, I only had 2. When I do this again I plan on cooking some thin sliced bacon till crumbly to top everything with.
