Nothing special for the brownie. Just use a regular recipe or a box mix. I preheat the skillet, add a couple tablespoons of butter, let it melt add batter and bake as usual.
I have 3 pieces, a dutch oven, small and large skillet. I love using it any chance I can and definitely every weekend for bacon, eggs and hash browns. I'd love to know how to make pizza Vonna if you wouldn't mind giving the recipe out.
My mom has a small cast iron skillet that her dad had (1930's) and I've asked for it when she's done with it.
Have to give those a try. Most everything else taste better out of cast iron. Brownies should too.

The pizza crust is Bobby Flay's. Here's the link: Pizza Dough Recipe : Bobby Flay : Food Network
Here's what I did for the cast iron pizza: I didn't roll mine, I just did it by hand, pushing down and out from the middle and stretching outward so the crust was a bit thicker at the outer edge. I lightly sprayed my skillet and then pressed the pizza dough into the bottom and up the sides. The toppings/filling are just whatever you like. Ours was pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onions and mushrooms that I sauteed first and lots of provolone and mozzarella cheese. The next night we did 2 smaller pizzas, one was straight pepperoni and the other was a bacon cheeseburger with mustard as the sauce instead of using tomato. This one happens to be my favorite! Just make sure your toppings don't go over the top of your crust. One thing you need to do with the cast iron is heat it up before putting it into a hot oven. Once you've assembled your pizza, put your skilled on a medium high burner for 3 - 5 minutes to get your skillet heated up. Then bake your pizza in a 475 degree oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until the crust is brown and the cheese is bubbly. I used 1/2 the dough for the 12 inch skillet and the other 1/2 made two pizzas in 8 and 9 inch skillets. I gotta say, it's pretty cool because the pizza will completely free spin in the skillet when it's done. Plus the crust get really crispy - Yum! The crust was actually better the next day, so I think next time I'm make it the day before and then just pull it out of the fridge about a 1/2 hour before prepping the pizza.
cast iron, always at this house on everything indoors and outdoors...
