Ever heard of using a sterile, kidney stone filter to strain fish oil. It is clean, sterile, and works quite well, just dont tell the wife, she may freak out.

Default Straining or filtering cooking oil

Reply: Well using the strainer works for me. Some guys use an auto paint strainer, but the stone filter is clean and sterile.

Try it it works quite well.

I use a wire mesh colander then cut a piece of cheese cloth big enough to double over. Place the doubled cheese cloth in the colander and pour the oil through it. It drains fast and cleans it well.
