    I use a wire mesh colander then cut a piece of cheese cloth big enough to double over. Place the doubled cheese cloth in the colander and pour the oil through it. It drains fast and cleans it well.

    I use the cheapest vegetable oil I can buy. As far as straining....I bust the end of the bottle off on the edge of the bar and strain it through my teeth

    Reply: Well using the strainer works for me. Some guys use an auto paint strainer, but the stone filter is clean and sterile.

    Try it it works quite well.

    I use Canola Oil strain it through a wire mesh screen. Would like to make a setup to use a better filter.

    I use paint strainers i get from sherman willains.. There about a buck.. There bigger then the paint straners u get from a auto parts store..

    I picked up a mesh strainer that goes into your sink drain at Walmart for about $1. I put the strainer inside my funnel and pour the oil directly back into the jug.

    coffee filters. same as we use in the bunn . slow but works great .

    Use a large funnel and filters from Bass Pro. Never tried the cheese trick. Will have to give it a go.
    Even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then.......
