I like these cause they wobble good at slow speeds. You may have seen my posts of crappie I've caught on them on my home lake, Lake Griffin Florida. Well the secret is out, I used Crappie Busters. Yes, even on the relatively shallow Lake Griffin.

Here's a nice crappie caught earlier this year on a Crappie Buster on Lake Griffin.

We need Johnson as a sponsor here at C.C because they have great products and have been around a long time. I grew up fishing with a Johnson Century spin cast reel. Here is a pic of a Johnson Scorpion trigger spin that I use on a 12 ft jig pole.

Thought i'd look see what i have in my collection from Johnson company. Didn't have to look far as we still use these rods and reels. Bought them for me and the grandson around 15 to 20 years ago. Most people think they're baitcasters but they're spincasters. The looks i received from guys watching my little grandson casting these setups was hilarious. They wondered how long it took him to master that baitcast reel.

Used a Johnson Century back in the early days of my Crappie fishing ... very nice reel, as I remember.

And I agree .... now that pushing/pulling cranks has come to the forefront of Crappie fishing, we need to know about any & all new crankbaits (&/or products in general) that will give us a plethora of choices in colors, sizes, shapes, and running depths. Johnson, as a sponsor, would be an excellent addition to crappie.com. Up until last week I did not even know that Johnson really had any other products out there other than the beetle spin and some reels. At the jig show one of their pro staffers showed people the new shad scales line of attractants and grizzly jig sold out of every single color. If it were not for seeing this product there I would have never known of its exsistance. This would be an excellent forum for Johnson to show off its new and old products to the public. Everybody knows about the beetle spin, but who would of ever guessed that they had a line of attractants, crankbaits, and the spin'r grub. Looks like some excellent products, but if the crappie fishing community does not know about them then they are missing alot of sale.

As a matter a fact, you caught this on Crescent Lake on the orange/brown one here in FL about a week and a half ago when you were visiting.



I remember, it was a rough day weather wise and we kinda hid behind the island.
