Pomoxis,I have the lift n lock like the link you posted and I do like it. I saw em at gander mom this week for $10.00 . The weak point is the plastic roller, I've replaced mine with an aluminum roller. My rope, I roll it up on a spool. I also have a boat that has the an ornate on it but have never used it( project boat). I'll post up a pic of mine later

Here is a couple pics of mine,I don't have but about 40ft of anchor rope on this spool. I have some Velcro on the bottom of the spool and floor of the boat,I just stick the spool down on it an it stays putheres the back,you can see where I changed out the plastic wheel yo an aluminum, I've broke a couple of the plastic wheels by bumping into the dock and such
