    Most try to keep too many colors and spend too much time changing baits instead of fishing . IMO

    I agree with Nimrod. I keep two colors, chartreuse and purple and chartreuse. 2" at all times with either 1/16 or 1/8 unpainted jig heads with red sickle hooks only. I seem to catch fish pretty much every time I go, although I don't usually load the boat (I tend to leave after I catch 10-15 anyway because I don't want to clean more than that).

    Same here. I use white and chartreuse for crappie, red for bluegill and junebug for bass.
