I pulled up to one of my deeer stands (14 ft. tall) and could put my hand on the seat of the stand from the boat! Amazing!

Guys, menu will be selective at best. I typically have two meals available.

    Fried Crappie
    French Fries
    Cols Slaw
    Hush puppies
    green onions
    Pork and beans
    Cold Beer/Ice tea

    Or

    Pettijean Ham
    Brown beans and cornbread
Fried potatoes cooked with onion and bacon
    Fried squash
    Green bean wraps
    Cold beer/Ice tea

    Sorry!!!!!!

I had a deer stand on a small ridge in the Black River bottoms. It was a plastic box with sliding plexiglass windows on an aluminum frame with the floor 15 ft. above the ground. Last spring our part of Black River got as high or higher than it got in 1982, and some jerk motored a boat to my stand, the floor of which was barely above the water, unbolted the box from the frame, threw it in their boat and stole it. I guess I'm lucky that I had the 4 legs of the frame wired to steel fence posts which of course were nearly 15 feet under water or they would have gotten the whole thing.
