    Default Catfish haul

The Catfish are biting good. We had a group fish fry yesterday. Here is a picture after we emptied the live cage at the cleaning station. Good thing there was lots of help with knives.

That's a nice mess of Cat there Nimrod, Catch em on a Pole, Trotline? I'll guess you were fishing Nimrod. You know I love pole catting on a peaceful summer night with family and friends, your sitting there one moment having a peaceful chat; and then all of a sudden WHAM you hear a clunk on the side of the boat and realize it's one of your rods hitting the boat and you look up and see one of your rod tips bowed over. Man I love that stuff. WTG CP.

That's a good pile of cats Nimrod......Did you have to watch them close to keep them from swiming away in all the rain?

We are daylight fishermen. I was fishing trotlines in the flood water. Later this summer we bait them in and use 16' black widow poles with no reels. Right now it's up in the tree tops and still rising!
