Default New Crappie lake in Arkansas!!!!

Boys, I don't know yet but I'm pretty sure I have found what could be a hot crappie lake in the near future! If them slabs will eat tomato plants, squash, peas and corn then I'm going to open my 2 acre garden up to us Crappie fisherman......:D:D

It's 4 ft. under water right now and still rising!

Dont worry about the food, if you have a porch and easy chair, I'll bring the spam and bologna with crackers.
If the good Lord is willing and the creeks dont rise I'll catch a slab today.

Be sure to give us a good report, Dennis! I always new that you could catch crappie out of a mud puddle, but that's taking it a little far. But believe me before you go try that backyard fishin'...they only bite minnows:D

Hey Chris- All joking aside, the back of my property (in the bottoms) has a small lake normally, which comparibly speaking now looks like the LMR. I caught Crappie from it yesterday while trolling my boat around looking at the water. Nothing big, but 11-13 inch crappie.........

I pulled up to one of my deeer stands (14 ft. tall) and could put my hand on the seat of the stand from the boat! Amazing!

Guys, menu will be selective at best. I typically have two meals available.

    Fried Crappie
    French Fries
    Cols Slaw
    Hush puppies
    green onions
    Pork and beans
    Cold Beer/Ice tea

    Or

    Pettijean Ham
    Brown beans and cornbread
Fried potatoes cooked with onion and bacon
    Fried squash
    Green bean wraps
    Cold beer/Ice tea

    Sorry!!!!!!

Sounds like you might draw a crowd there.

If you flood it, they will come.
