Sorry to hear about your loss. There was a ring of dogs theives in Ark. & La. a few years ago. They would steal dogs from their area; meet half way; swap dogs and sell the dogs in a different state. Made it difficult to catch them.

If someone wants to help the older gentleman from Memphis that would be a very kind offer but not me guys, I think my insurance is going to cover all but 1000.00 of my losses. I have a job and can afford to replace my stuff but I sure appreciate the offer. I only started this thread because I would like for the thieves to get caught.

creekslick, did you notice if they took your new 1197? Something like that is easy to overlook.

I did not have a 1197 but I HAD a 797 ci SI and yes they did take it. I took it off the console and locked it in my rod box. But my locks did not stand up to their bolt cutters. The bad part about losing it is I lost all my waypoints.

Good Job for the Baxter Co Sheriff's Offc, but with them being juveniles, probably wont get much punishment. But we can hope that those whose stuff got stolen, may get some returned

Wayne, I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. I hope they catch whoever it was and prosecute them, and hopefully recover your equipment. Nobody lower in my book than a thief. Hope you can get back after some crappie soon. Take care.

    A bad day of fishing
