    Question Spawn on Lake Greeson

What time of year do the crappie normally spawn on Lake Greeson? Just wondering if it will still be on during the Spring Crappie Camp. That will be the first chance I've had to fish in six weeks

They are trying to spawn now but don't really know how much they are getting done sincde the water temp is staying cool. By crappie camp the white crappie should be finishing up their spawn.

These cool nights have 'em confused. We have several warmer nights coming up starting Thursday. They should turn on over the next 7-10 days.

Thanks for the feedback; it sounds like for Crappie Camp they deep, shallow or anywhere in between. I'm looking forward to it.

Half the fun is finding 'em, you know. With our weather, that's what I have to do each time I go out. They have not been in the same places any two trips in a row. Sure glad I'm not a guide in these conditions.

I've never been to Greeson before so I'll be looking for pointers from some of you fellows that know the lake. I'll bring a few bag of fillets just in case; LOL.

I not sure about Greeson, but we caught some on Dierks Lake this morning, its not far from Greeson. All the black crappie were spawned out but the white crappie still had there eggs.

We caught 16 keepers Friday morning in 5-10 ft of water at 3 ft deep. Darryl was a very patient and professional guide. I think most of the blacks have spawned and the whites are thinking about it, but aren't quite there.
