    Default Help with Greers Ferry

I am headed to Greers next week and have never fished the lake before. Anybody willing to help a brother out with where I might start? Not wanting your "spot", just some guidance in the general direction.

If the cold fronts get on out of here you should be able to catch them next week in the buck brush.

    Default Help on Greers Ferry

Hello QM, Bucket (0) Mouth here. I fish GF quite a bit from Hill Creek back to Choctaw so if you are in that area will try to help some. Blacks are (or were) in the buckbrush but this cold snap may bring the back out for a couple days until it wams up. Whites are still in the standing timber or were as of this past week end. Let me know if I can help you with an area on the upper end of the lake.
If the good Lord is willing and the creeks dont rise I'll catch a slab today.

Default What about the lower side?

Anybody on here have any experience catching slabs on the Heber/Dam side of Greers Ferry? What about around the Cherokee park area or Peter creek?

I'm coming from Searcy but have never been on the lake. I am open to fishing where I need to.

I fished at Hill Creek for a few hours this evening with minimal success. I boated 1 big crappie, 1 bream, 1 very small kentucky, and 1 medium size turtle. Quite a bit of fishing pressure in that area.

    Default Middle Fork

Fished Middle Fork Yesterday (Wed) about 6 hours. Caught 12 average Crappie, one nice walleye, several whites and a couple brem. Not really a good day..they were scattered and had their mouth closed.
