Im still trying to figure out this crappie fishing. Just when I think Im getting it straight, mother nature throws me a curve ball. Days when I think they're gonna bite, they don't. Days when I stay home, everybody wears em out. Some body tell me how crappie are effected by different weather patterns, such as barometric pressure, wind, cold, hot, cloudy days, sunny days any info would be great. Thanks.

If I knew the answers to those questions I'd probably be a famous celebrity crappie fisherman, but I have a lot of those curve balls thrown my way also. It's just better to go and see if they're biting than to stay home and wonder if they were biting. The more you go the more good days you'll have. Good luck. By the way welcome to the site.

I heard an ole wise man say one time; "the sucessfull fisherman is like the hunter , he hunts all the time !! And not all the time is he sucesssful, but he gets his limit from time to time" .
You gptta be there when the bite is on, dedication, devotion and tenacity all play a big role in how sucessfull you wannna be !!
When I was fishing all the time i Caught lots of fish but not all the time .
