Appreciate the report. It's not fun fishing a new lake...but it sure is fun to figure out a new lake. Let the catching begin...you're already on your way. And I'm right there with you, I'd drive 2 hours to fish for one hour at a good spot...

Made a trip down to old town lake yesterday. Only 80 miles oneway from Carlisle. Oh well it was fishin, my first time there so I was lost as last years easter egg. talked to several people, seemed like alot of them were catchin some. Not knowing the lake I went where the most boats were, how's that for a plan. Caught alot of smallens. The deepest water I found was about 4ft. Came home with 6, just enough for supper, and yes I would go back. Oh yea caugtem on tube jigs better than minners. Water temp. low 60's![]()
If it will hold cornmeal it's big enough for me !!!!!!!!!
