I like pullin' cranks up in the day from post spawn to early Fall. The Bandit 300s will troll at about 12'-14' if you let out 75 feet of line (look at the graph). You won't limit out usually, but man o man you will catch some hogs if you are consistent.

What I really like is that after the wind gets up, you can just rig up the Bandits and set the tm or big motor to the speed you like (I usually go at about .8) and use my gps to keep me in line there. Once set, I just kick back and keep an eye on my rod tips. I have a tip for you: keep your net real handy.

Also, you will LEARN where the deeper water is and you will LEARN where the hang-up areas to avoid.

Trollin' is a real good way to pass the time when the wind is too high to see a strike when "still fishin' " and that's how I use it.

The Mississippi forum has a BUNCH of info on trollin' the Bandits, so look 'em up and hook 'em up after the spawn. You'll be glad you did.
