Lake Norrell

I think that this lake is around Benton. Any fishing information would be a HUGE help.

Someone was telling me about it, and I want to give it a try.

What do you want to know. Have a cabin there. I put 14 boo piles in last month. Very clear, docks all around. No other brush. It is Benton backup water supply. Good ramp, I sometimes leave my truck and trailer at ramp all weekend. (may not this year)

It is at the end of Lawson Rd if coming from L.R. off I-430 at Col. Glenn. Good clean lake for fun.

I had a buddy tell me that he was spider rigging in the "cove with the creek" last week at about 25 ft deep. Said that he picked up about 15 all in the 1lb range.

Just wondering if it was worth the trip or not. Have you done good there this year??

I have not wet a hook this year. Been working around the house and on my jeep. Trying to get it ready to camo.

I would like to meet that guy. We have only have a place there 40 years and only time that I did any good on crappie is when the ramp was out. No way for other to put in.

You're gonna like Lake Norrel. I grew up in Benton and althoug I haven't fished it in years, it is a beautiful lake and has a good number of nice specks and lm bass. It's readily accessible and it is small enough that you can cover the major areas pretty easily.

Have a ball and tell us what you find.
