I know they are fairly cheap, OK really cheap, but I am gonna try out one of the horse syringes (clean of course) and see if it works as well, thus saving %15+shipping.

Cricket George, Slab Hunter on the Louisiana board makes and sell the bait pump. It really works great and saves a lot on nibbles. Here is a link to his website. THE BAIT PUMP - SOFT BAIT INJECTION SYSTEM ! FOR CRAPPIE FISHING AND BASS FISHING

You Can Make a Difference!
I've seen enough colonoscopies to know which end...:p
Jim and I put a little crappie nibble right on our hook with nothing else and we tear the bream up in his pond! It's so much fun!!!
Shut up and Fish!!! :D
Does the bait dry out or become difficult to use if left in there for awhile, or it it not an issue. Do you have to clean it out after every use?
Just wondering

I took a mini jig or tube bait body and pulled the legs off.
Then I use it like a cap and slip over the tip.
Been doing this for a couple of months with no problems.
Keeps the nibble stuff from drying out.
Thats a good idea. I bought one because I think its a good product, but didnt know how to keep the nibbles from drying out.
Thanks for the information

If there is any drying out it is just at the end of the tube and will squeeze right out. I just leave my loaded all the time.

If you use it at least once a week you will hardly notice any drying out at all. Just the very tip of the nozzel may dry a little but not enough to even worry about. I have even noticed that what is left in the tube jigs stays moist for a pretty good while. I would expect any dried bits to rehydrate pretty quickly once the jig hits the water.
