    Default My new Bait-Pump

I saw my friend Jerry (L.A. Stumpjumper) out on Lake Monticello today. He had an extra Bait-Pump and was gracious enough to give it to me. I had been intending to order one for a while but had just not gotten around to it yet. I have to say I was amazed at how much precision was put into the manufacture of the unit and how well it worked. It is really going to save a ton of both time and nibbles as I am constantly bringing up jigs to make sure they still have a nibble on them while trolling. If I had known how well they worked I would have had one a long time ago........thanks Jerry!

We love ours! First fish I caught with it was 12 feet deep and weighed over 2 lbs! Still had a jig full of nibbles left. Went right back to fishin'!

Ahh, Jerry comes through like a champ! The Bait Pump is tool that gets the job done even on the coldest days, and it will be in your tackle box for a long time. And better yet, it's made by a heck of a guy. The only complaint that I have is the lack of a disclaimer about rosies...dang near blew up a half dozen before I figured out it's a jig only kinda thing...

I love it! Got to try it out on fish this morning on LM where I usually just use the solid body jigs. Put a green/char tube jig on the first pole and pumped it full with the bait-pump then threw it out. I put the Bobby Garlands on the next three poles but before I could get the last pole out I had a crappie on the first one that I had used the bait-pump on. So I decided to use 2 poles with Bait-Pump full tube jigs and 2 poles with the BG baby shads (solid body) making four poles in all. I caught more crappie on the tube jigs Much to my suprise! They were biting slow and the wind was bad but I still managed to limit out by noon. More than half were caught on a Midsouth Tackle "SuperJig" in the green/char sparkle pumped full of nibbles. It was so nice not having to keep putting nibbles on the hooks all the time. The nibbles lasted all morning in the two jigs.
