    Jerry, is 12 mph wind too windy at cane creek, or is it pretty rough? Want to go sat., but I need to know how the lake condition will be with 12 mph wind on it?

    holy moly i would bow in your presents oh lord of the crappie.i hail you oh true master of the fishes.if i got a crappie that size i think i would pee myself.

    Bawana73....this is my FIRST POST....when I finally run out of deer tags I'm go'in crappie fish'in w/ Jerry Blake.... actionfishingtrips.com....been fishing w/ Jerry since 2003 and he got me "hooked". Any of U fellas have the chance to fish L. Greeson, AR, it would be hard to find a guide who could put more fish in the boat. Just finished looking at those 3# crappie the "other" Jerry caught...truly impressive! My personal best measured 17 1/4"...somebody tell me what that would weigh; better than 2#'s for sure. Let's go fish'in...

    Welcome Bawana73 to the site. Yeah Jerry Blake can put you on some fish for sure. Glad you joined the forum, look forward to your reports and posts. If your crappie was a white crappie it would weigh about 2lb 8oz to 2-10, If it was a black it would be about 3-5 to 3-8. Good fish either way.

    I caught 2 blacks out of a pond years ago that went 3 but it's been a long time! You guys have a great fishery over there to kick fish like those.....savor it for a long time.
