...the bite is slow, the water is clear and about 70 degrees. I've been three times this week and it has been tough all three days. When I go fishin' I go for the day; I mean from daylight to dark sos I can get the morning and the afternoon bite...if there is one.
It's been tough around the twin creeks area. How about a report when you return?
If you're plannin' to fish Twin Creeks, I can fix you up with some numbers--just pm me and I'll do what I can for you. You'll need all the help you can get in the clear water.
I'm goin to Harris Brake this week-end for a while just to find some stained water. If Greers was not so dang far, I'd be up there with the Bandits!
BTW, Ms Madeline at Ruth's Bait Shop tells all who will listen; they're hittin' chartreuse Tripple-Ripple, 8-12' deep over brushpiles in deeper water. Tennessee Shad is good and I would carry me a bunch of No. 4 crappie minnows if you wanted to have a chance. It seems the jigs are not gettin' it done--at least not for me--here in the past month. Have a safe and enjoyable trip on the big - O. <><
