not doing much there lately. Caught about 20 saturday with a handful of nice ones. They weren't on the places they should have been. I really think that lots of them headed for greener pastures earlier when the water was so high. They are spread into every little lake and creek in the St. Francis floodway.Talked to several fishermen who weren't doing anything either. How about Rainbow ?? or straight lake?? I would bet they are better right now.

to answer your query tough it is due south of widener about 3-4 miles. Bait shop on hwy 70 in edge of Forrest city. on right in little convenience store on right.then drive on 70 to the intersection next to the XXX place. Take a right there and when you cross the tracks just go straight on south. you will hit gravel and soon run onto the levee. About a mile further on left. you can't miss it. ramp good enough to launch Rangers with 250s. water still stained and higher than i like it at this time of year. Still i can pull up to sunken tops where we have caught nice ones in the past and get nothing.
