    Default Good day at Greer's

The fish were really biting at Greer's this afternoon. It was a picture perfect day. I put out my first pole right at 12 o'clock and had a fish on before I could get my 2nd pole out. I had 20 fish by 2:30. Started culling and caught another 12. Reeled in and headed for the bank at 3:30. All fish came from 50'-70' of water on bandits. Anything shad colored or with chartreuse did the trick.

Nice catch. The fishing over there has been really good for awhile now. I may try fishing the deeper water to keep from getting hung up as much.

That's a nice mess of crappie! We lived in Greenbrier (Lake St.) for 2 1/2 yrs while I was at UCA but I just never got a chance to fish Greers. I want to get up there someday with the boat.

SS glad you had a good day. It's nothing like have 2 or 3 on at the same time. I think they have started chasing shad is why the shad color is working so well now. Get back out there and get another limit before the rain tomorrow.
