...and it appears that I stand corrected, for the most part. Hmmmm. I was doin' a lot of typin' earlier today. Reckon I misread or mistyped--at any rate "THANKS" for the correction, Nim. That is better news anyway! I should know that you are the "go to" guy for Lake Nimrod.
Here's my source: this gauge is located at the dam. This is the main source that our hydrology folks at the Corps use. I guess it's a good thang that I'm not in hydrology. :p
Tomorrow is my final day at work. It is finally my turn, praise the Lord. :D

The fishing should pick up as the lake gets closer to normal levels.![]()

Should'nt be long before Nimrod is back to normal. The Corps dropped it 15'' in the last 24 hours. Maybe I can get back to normal if that's possiable when the lake is back down. :D

Nim,
I'm gonna load up the waypoints that are on the map and take a little tour up there when the water gets to normal. I'll give you a holler and maybe we can have a cup then...and maybe catch a slab or two.
I'm in the process of buying me another boat right now. Maybe I'll have it by the time I come up there. We'll see. Keep in touch.

AJ,
First, congratulations on your retirement! I'm envious.
Next, I'm curious about the map and waypoints you mentioned. Are they for Lake Nimrod? Are they public info?
This year has been my first to visit Nimrod and I really like camping there. We usually stay at County Line Park. I'm still a newbie as far as fishing there.
We are going to Piney Bay this weekend because of the water level at Nimrod.
Thanks,
Tommy from Conway
Tree , you should be able to pick up a small map with decimal coordinates at the Nimrod COE office or there is a big one for sale at the bait store.![]()

WOW!I never remember the lake dropping so fast! Nimrod dropped about 1.5' last 24 hours and has 10' to go.
Will be glad when it gets back down.
