Caught a mess of crappie today
My brother and I went to Cane Creek this morning and fished until 9:30 and only caught 1 about 12in. We loaded up and went to Moore's bayou, and ended up with 20 Crappie and 1 bluegill. It had been since labor day without crappie fishing and I was having withdrawals, so I took a vacation day and got my fix. Thinking about trying Coal pile tommorow.
Todays catch, on roadrunners and jigs.
A bad day of fishing

Hey Jerry, I figured you would be gettin' on out to CC to scope it out. I would've bet money that more than one of those crappie came from there. Those sure are pretty for ditch fishin'. I'll be seeing you out there at CC in the next few weeks. 'Till then be sure to keep us updated.

Those are sure some nice looking crappie. Could almost guess they were from cane creek by the color of them. They sure are pretty out of CC. I need to get back down there and do some fishing again.
