    Default private reservoir=cheating?

went out to a private reservoir monday. its near here in scott. wore them out . took home 27 the limit here is 30.water temps were 77 to 78 degrees. all that rain and cool days turned them on.most were 9 to 11 inches no hogs but heck i lovin it.one of the better days this year for me .hopin to do that alot more this fall. thinkin with the warmer temps cominback up theyll slow down a bit.i know you guys got into a few with the great conditions and all.let me hear it. and also what happened to that deal that tells how to post pics.somehow i gotta figure it out.much better fishin skills than computer skills. oh yeah red and chartreuse 2 to 2 and half feet deep on bobber.icall it jig a bob.i have perfected this technique.works best with 32nd ounce jig.

Sounds like you had fun. As far as the cheating because it is a pvt lake, I wouldn't worry, it still take some skill to catch the fish. I say pooey on those who say it is.

It is only considered cheating if you don't invite a few of your fellow crappie.comers

That's a GOOD report, no matter WHERE you're fishin'.

It lets me know that the good times are just around the corner for ALL the area lakes!!

Sounds like you had a GREAT trip. Good deal. This summer has been one of the toughest I can remember when it comes to crappie fishing. I'm glad they're still there and not all been abducted by little green men. I was beginning to wonder...

By the way, ole Boudreauz and Thibodeaux were sitting on the bayou doing a little fishing and hunting. Along come a flying sauser with bright flashing lights. The space craft lands and two skinny, green men come out of the ship. Thibodeaux asks Boudreaux, "What's dat?" Boudreaux replies, "I don't know, but get the rice ready!"

Enjoy, see ya'll on the water and remember, life is too short to fish with dead bait.
