In Ark. there 4 good lake within hour drive from Memphis. Island 40, Horseshoe, Midway, and Big Lake

Horseshoe lake take I-40 west to Exit 271, Hwy 147 south. Follow the signs
Midway lake I-40 west to exit 271. Go under I-40 take your first right (service rd. heading west) to Hwy 79 south. When you get to Hughes, Midway is a couple of miles past Hughes.
Big Lake is in Manila by Blytheville. Not sure how to get, just take I-55 north almost to MO. state line
Island 40 take I-55 to Jericho get on Hwy 61. Follow signs

Does anyone know where to bank fish on Horseshoe Lake? Also, does anyone know exactly how to get to Midway Lake--went looking for it but had some problems finding it. Thanks for the info!

I already informed you how to get to Midway. Don't know any area to bank fish at Horseshoe

After you go thru Hughes about 3-5 miles down there will be a water tower on your left. Take a left at the water tower and go down to you see the levi. Once you see the levee get on it and you will see places to bank fish.
