    Default ashbaugh

Can anyone tell me anything about this lake? I heard it used to be good but had been drained a few years ago. I was just wondering if anyone had fished it lately and had a report.

I live about 9 miles from ashbaugh, they did drain it a few years ago, to get the flathead catfish out of it,it has some good bass in it but you can not keep them.
The crappie runs about 10" long, most being caught at the back boat dock. They catch most of the crappie off the pier.I don't fish it much anymore the crappie is just not big enough. The catfishing is pretty good I hear.

    Hope this helps; ATVMAN

Thats the way I heard it.The catfish that I observed being caught were about 1 lb channel cat not really my idea of good catfishing. They were catching some crappie earlier in the year 10 to 11 inches being the biggest I saw.I havent been up there in a couple of weeks.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work..
