    Default Old town

Anyone have water temps for old town. And fishing report would be nice too. But can live with just water temps.

Fished there Tuesday and Wednsday. Only caught 2 on Tuesday and 6 on Wednseday. The temps are 66 to 68 degrees surface. Both ends of the lake are muddy but the middle part is clear. The water is up very high. I think that the high water has caused the crappie have gone back in the buck brush and and are virtually impossible to get back there in a boat. I left before the storms hit on Thursday. I had planned to be there all week.

Hey Gut Shot---just how high is it at Old Town? What about the concrete ramp at the AGFC landing?

You can get your boat in easily. No problems there. The water is high enough that it is in the farmers fields pretty good on the other side of the lake. I did not see the crackhead there at all while I was their. Maybe the high wind blew him away:D. The spillway is open so the level should be going down. There were a couple of locals there both days catching some of the biggest bream I have seen come out of there in years. Both of them had over 35 fish after about 2.5 hours of fishing using crickets.
