    Default Storm Creek Lake


    Anyone heard anything about Storm Creek Lake near West Helena? With all of the water, I wonder if Storm Creek would be an option for this weekend. I know that you are not allowed to run any motor over 9.9 hp. I used to catch some nice bass there but not many crappie. I've heard that the crappie have made a comeback though.

    What's up Roll. You got the fever don't you. I talked to a guy last week on Old Town that said that he catches them at Storm Creek in the winter. Sorry I had to leave and not fish the weekend. What is the wind supposed to be like Saturday? Do you want to try and catch some of them big old bream at Old Town on Saturday? Maybe I could brinhg my small boat and we could be able to ease back there and get to some of those crappie way back in the buck brush. That is is you can keep from "Marvining" up all the time

    The sun is starting to come out here and I am getting the fishing fever a bit. I thought that maybe storm creek would be decent but I don't know. Give me a call later on.
