Big Kitty
Has anybody heard about a big cat hit by a car near Prescott? I got word that the G & F put her out of her misery.

I got the email about a month or 2 ago from my sister. I called a buddy at the AGFC fisheries division, he asked AGFC wildlife folks about it. He affirmed that it was in Prescott, ARIZONA. No cats live in AR (excet for house and bob)

Thanks fellows. All of the stories I have heard about panthers in Arkansas involves black ones. This one was a puma and I figured the news would have been on our board by now.

Heard two weeks ago a pitbull was killed by a critter and the owners was thinking it was a cat, but did not report it to the G & F. I did see that picture didn't look at state info.

There are cats in Arkansas. Just not many. Seen tracks over at Mt. Magazine during deer season 5 years ago. And not to blab when I was 5 or 6 I was playing outside and heard a baby crying and it started getting softer and softer and me being curious went half way up the hill and decided to go tell my mom about the baby and next thing I saw was Papa out with his shotgun walking around the house and it was a long time before I could play on the hill.

yeah that cat story been all over web. Ive had the exct same pic emailed to me 3 times... all from differnt states. But dont let them fool ya there are big cats in Arkansas I dont give a %@&%@ what the G&F tells people. I have had so many arguments with the local warden over seeing them. Dont know why they even deny it.
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!
