Welcome to the forum.I live in walnut ridge I've fished lake charles some caught a lot there but not much size to them.I've never fished poinsett but I,ve heard its pretty good another one close to you is lake hogue at waldenburg its a small lake but ive heard its not bad.I usually fish portia bay or horner bay but with black river up they quite biting.
