Crappie.com is a great site and the Arkansas board is fantastic. I am very thankful that T.J. started this post. Christmas and birthdays are in the near future and both my boys are wanting to get more involved in hunting. We never did much of it in the past because we really didn't have a place to hunt. I am learning more about huntable COE strips and WMA's, so that gives us a place. I remembered this post and it has been a great help in my research (except for that goofball joking about 50cal.). The .270 or the 7mm (.275) sounds pretty good to me. If anyone has more thoughts post'em.
