I bet if the fishing was anything like it was after the rain started on Friday night it was REAL tough on Saturday morning! Hoping to put my dad and his singing buddy out on the boat for some fish on Sat. evening/night. They are coming in town to sing at Rocky Branch Baptist Church on Sat. evening and Sunday afternoon. Jack is going to let me borrow his boat to use that evening. He's a good friend for letting me do that, hopefully the fish won't dissappoint! MM
Today was somwhat tough also. Jerry and I caught enough for supper but that's about it. Of coarse I didn't fish any of the normal honey holes, I tried a few places I hadn't fished in a while and was pleased on a spot or two. All the fish were nice, 11" or larger. I will be out with Tyler Thursday bass/ crappie fishing. I have a trip Saturday.
