Thread: Fall Crappie Camp on Lake Greeson, AR

Well guys/gals, looks like I will have to bow out of the gathering this year. Looks like I will have to be going back offshore on the 8th of Oct. for 2 weeks. Maybe next year or if any of yall want to come down to ANY of our gatherings....Feel Free! Sure would be nice to meet a few more of you.

That's too bad, sorry you can't make. I'm really looking forward to see some of our LA friends, and yes, I'm looking forward to the time when I can get down there.

As much as i would love to come, I think i'll have to pass on this 1. unless................. i can talk the wife into visitin her sister in LR that weekend!

My Dad heard about Fall Crappie Camp and chewed on me for not telling him. Looks like we might have one more. He sure was impressed with you and Jerry the one day we were at the spring camp....I don't know why? We will be there Friday morning and leave when ever on Sunday.

Yes, and it will be here before we know it and I can't wait. I am planning a quiet nightstalk on the docks where we've sunk some brush. Plus, soon I will make a post concerning the fish fry Saturday evening to ensure we all in potluck fashion have everything there we need. If you want to make a post as to what you can bring and then I'll just post what we need. I'll do the same on the Main board later. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Well, crappie camp will be here before we know it and I'm hoping that everyone will enjoy the simplicity of the weekend. I would like to get somewhat of a head count and a little help with the fish fry, please.

Below is a list of what is needed. Will you please post here if you're definitely coming and what you can bring from this list. Also, post any thing else you plan on bringing or perhaps something I have forgotten. Thanks.

Oil
Self-rising White Cornmeal
Black pepper
mustard
hot sause
paper plates
paper cups
plastic forks and spoons
paper towels / napkins
sodas
water
other sides (your choices) (a pot of brown beans would be real nice, hint, lol)
desserts (your choices)

Count me in Darryl. I have every intention on being there Friday morning and leaving out Sunday around noon. I will try to talk my lovely most wonderful wife in the whole wide world (she sometimes checks out this site to see what plans I have made that haven't told her about) to make some homemade chocolate chip cookies. Also, sign me up for the paperplates, cups, forks/spoons, and paper towels.
