Just found out that Rex Duncan & Myself (Gene Taylor) will be at fall crappie camp. I've read the post and seems you have all bases covered as far as fixins for the feed. If you can think of anything, I mean anything you need, let me know ([email protected]). We will be up friday. We will bring a ICE for sure and anything else you need.

P.S. We have one of those dble basket, 5 gal, gas fired fish cookers if you need it. Do you want us to bring some crappie just in case?

    Hey Gene:

Good to hear you and Rex are coming over for Crappie Camp. I think we have enough cookers but if you want to bring one side dish or desert along that will be great. Not sure about oil - might could use another gallon.

The crappie are starting to bite a lot better. Hope the trend continues.
    FISH ON!

Looks like Fall Crappie Camp 2007 is shaping up to be a nice one and if the weather will continue to trend our way the catching should be good too. Just based on what I see on this board and the Arkansas Board there are about 20 different parties who have responded to the thread. Looks like it's going to be a good crowd of folks. If you need any help with anything, call me -- 501-844-5418. If you see folks whom you think might be crappie campers, say hi and lend a helping hand. Also, remember you can have 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent per campsite, so if folks double up you can share the cost of the campsites. I'm not exactly sure where we'll have the fish fry at Saturday evening, but I'm not going to worry about because this round is suppose to be all about fun and simplicity. We'll either be at the camper, the marina or wherever DrPepper (Don) wants to cook the fish. See ya'll Friday afternoon when I get off the water.

Is this going to be at the same camping area as it was this spring. See y'all Friday.

    A bad day of fishing

Hey Jerry, yes, the east camp of Kirby Landing Recreation Area. Jerry (Blake) and I talked this evening and he said that the same loop we mostly use this spring was empty right now. Jerry and I will be setting up the popup camper on Thursday and we'll try to get one of the sites closest to the bathroom. See you then.

Darryl and Jerry, looks like me and my girls will be up there Saturday afternoon. We will stay at Swaha saturday night and leave early Sunday for church. I hope to be fishing by 2pm. Hope you guys have room at the table for a few more. Let me know if I can bring anything! We will be in a yellow triton bass boat, not hard to spot us.. Hope to see everyone there!
