    Hey Gene:

Sounds good! I'm hoping Clay will have Rosey Red minnows at the marina. He's been keeping Shiners and they have been working well for crappie bait. Carlos should have some Rosey Reds at the Salem Quick Stop between Kirby and Glenwood too.

Looks like I'm going to miss my first fall or spring crappie camp. I started a new job Monday and I just have way to much to do. In fact Saturday I need to go out and try on suits while you guys are fishing. May have time late night to make up some cornbread salad and send it that way if one of you crappie campers are heading that way.

hope you folks have fun. It will be Sunday afternoon before I get there to fish. Maybe I will see some of you before you leave. We thought we could make it up saturday, but fishing has to wait a day.

Looks like I might as well be the early bird. I am planning on leaving home around 3 tomorrow, get to greeson and set up camp and try to catch a few before dark. If anyone see's me in a black/tan expedition with a camo war eagle, feel free to stop by. Planning on leaving Sunday am. I am brining paper plates, paper towels, forks/knives/spoons and some cups.

I'll start staying there overnight starting tomorrow at the camper at the marina. Don't be bashful and see you there. Life is good!!!

    Hey Gooch:

Sorry to hear you won't be joining us. I was really looking forward to your Cornbread Salad! The weather will be perfect this time and the crappie will be jumping in the boat! But, you gotta do what you gotta do!

Can't say if there will be enough boats or not, but my guess would be yes. As of right now I'm not booked for Saturday and if it stays that way I will be taking crappie campers in my boat.
