Unless things have changed the Crappie are in 6 to 9' water on the bottom. I plan to Crappie fish with my son's girl friend's stepdad. We are going to take and anchor his boat over a Catfish hole . His wife ,daughter,and my son plan on Catfishing. That boy is going to bait a lot of hooks and remove a lot from fish this morning if they bite.:rolleyes: Well good luck as the Crappie fishing is slow and the bandit trollers are catching a few . I did fair 2 days this week on black/chartruse jigs in stakebeds. We had a fish fry and cooked a gallon bag of Crappie fillets last night. Those were the ones I caught this week .The most of the week has been spent catching Catfish.
Oh yea ,Slabless is coming up this afternoon to Catfish today and tomarrow. I think I'll be ready for a fishing break after toimarrow. :D

Guys the Crappie have slowed for us but the catfshing is red hot! We caught only 4 real good Crappie today . I guided for 6 people and we kept limits of catfish for everyone . Man 70 is a lot of catfish to fillet! It was fun except the cleaning. My boat is a **** mess between the slime, fish poop, and the sweet feed.:rolleyes:

Hey NIMROD, sounds like yall had a good time. We kept 8 nice crappie but they were tough to find. Deep and tight to the brush. Lost a couple good ones that got back in the brush on us.

Thanks for the trip Nimrod!:D We all caught our limits today. My freezer is full, and my 9-year-old had a ball.

Your welcome there Slabless. My son and I went out this morning to feed the fish. It's been since Monday and they have to be fed to keep them there.
The fishing was slow and it took till 9.00 am just to get our limits and released several more. We did'nt fish the same hole where we caught them Monday. Hope they really stacked up there for tomarrow. Will try to get out and feed them again this afternoon. Tommy and his boy will be here at 6.00 am to try their luck.:D

Thanks, we are on the Carfish hot right now. M1Tommy booked a trip for him and his son. Sorry the boy could'nt make it for an upset stomach. We had 2 limits in little over an hour. I dressed them and when Tommy left he plans to book another trip soon. He told me that he would try to post pictures of our trip. Sure was great meeting him ,hope more Crappie .com guys will consider booking a trip. We have the best deal right now for young'ns just wanting to catch a nice bunch of fish.:D
