    Default Beaver Lake Bite

Just an update on Beaver Lake.
Fishing is still good. I went out this morning with a friend of mine and we landed 30 keeper crappie, one white and a walleye. We threw back 20 or so as well.
All most all of the fish were caught in the mouths to the middle of feeder creek coves with standing timber in 20' to 30' of water. The fish are just off the bottom. Bluff lines also worked well in about the same depth.
YUM curl tail jigs caught all of our fish.
    Good luck!

Good to hear that some folks are catchin' crappie. Last I heard they were being caught about 6 to 10 feet deep here on brush and stakebeds. I was hoping to get to do a little crappie fishin' this weekend but I've got to much yard work to catch up on.
Good Luck to everyone fishing and post pics if you got 'em!

I went out this morning with customers and we landed over 20 keepers, we only kept 13 though, they didn't want many! I used the selective harvesting method!
I will be back out this evening with them!
    Same fishing tactics as Wednesday.
