Branthill, Morgan point is an oxbow off the Arkansas river. It is located east of Dumas, Ar. Go east at Dumas to the Pendleton bridge on the river and take a right before the bridge. Just as you get to the dam and hydro plant the parking lot and ramp is on the right.

They traded the land for what was supposed to be 13 acres or so on the east side by the park that stays empty. What they got was the timber rights to the acreage?? Either IP or Weyerhouser had those rights til Dec 31. They logged it so the corps got absolutely nothing for their ramp. the man that drew up the papers was due for retirement and doesnt work there now. Insider trading??? Who knows but somebody should get fired.
