Yes RKW, Trust me, you'll never probably use your LiveScope unit for anything besides LiveScope. On average it costs about an additional 700 bucks for the SI and Di capabilities in the same units. Almost everyone has a dedicated unit, being a Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance, ect. already to run their SI and DI.

I run helix 9 with heading sensor, added 93sv with live scope no di/si transducer. The Garmin has GPS and lake maps but still using hummingbird for that

Thanks guys for the information. I sure am glad I can save that $700 this sport is continually upgrading the electronics. I know there will probably be a new toy coming out every year. It is amazing where it is today compared to even 10 years ago. Remember when the HB flasher unit was the way to go?
