LiveScope Question
Okay I was in BP a few weeks ago looking at livescope and talking to the sales rep. I have two Helix 9s and Humminbird 360 on my boat. The guy told me I could use my Helix SI and DI to find the spots I want to fish that I didn't need that on the livescope. He said i could just get the livescope screen with the transducer that comes with it to see the fish without spending the $1500 on the other part. Is that correct or do you need the entire pkg? Thanks I'm not hi tech enough to know what to do.

All you need is a map unit without SI or DI to display the LiveScope. So I would suggest the 1022 GPS Map unit to go with the LiveScope transducer and the blackbox.

You will not need the DI/SI transducer. You will need the livescope transducer, black box and depth finder. I have a helix 10 so I didn’t buy the DI/SI transducer with the garmin depth finder.

1222 is just chart plotter no transducer so cheaper . I bought the 1242 xsv with transducer so if I upgrade later it has all the capabilities . That is just me , just running livescope with it .

Yes RKW, Trust me, you'll never probably use your LiveScope unit for anything besides LiveScope. On average it costs about an additional 700 bucks for the SI and Di capabilities in the same units. Almost everyone has a dedicated unit, being a Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance, ect. already to run their SI and DI.
