D10 try a thin waterproof glove or even a thick nitrile glove with a hot hand stuck on the back of your hand. The tighter fitting thinner gloves hold the hot hand in place and wont get in your way for grabbing. Not saying its as good as keeping them in your pockets but its a damn sight better than nothing.
