If anyone on here knows about some good spots on the river (Burns Park, Tar Camp) then lets go. I would want to go where we are going to catch fish, or at least know where to catch fish.
Another good spot would be the Big Maumelle River. Has anyone ever had any crappie luck on it?? I have only fished it 2 times. Both times all I cought was green carp.

Has anyone fished Tar Camp? I have duck hunted it many times. It has a lot boat docks on one side and the other is a big flat with few stumps until you get back to the back in a big stump flat.
To me it likes good around the docks and out in the big stump flat if they are in there.
DeGray sounds good to me.

Ceb.....I will be down for it, providing I ain't out of town or anything. I have been wanting to meet some of yall foos that hang around in hera anyways.
I have a couple of places we can fish at Tar Camp. I haven't been there this year, but i am sure we can find em. Degray sounds great too and probably a little more predictable than the river as well.
I would like to try degray as well. I have skiied all over that lake, but haven't fished it much.
Some good thoughts going here. I'll PM Darryl about degray, because I've been skunked there before...
I guess we will put these options up on a poll in a couple of days. Any other ideas on where to have it?
Why could'nt you and your neighbor (Jim Shirley ) host it at your place ? :DOriginally Posted by randybenham

Nimrod,
I would love to host it here, but there are too many dinks around here right now. Crappie fishing has been awful here. I fished a few days ago, and caught a lot of crappie, but the biggest one was 7 inches long. terrible. I don't know where they've gone. I worked on my boat last weekend, & will be trying to get on the water soon again to try them out.
I have a lake that needs all the dinks we can put in it. Or take out as the case maybe. Even have 35 gal tank to move fish in.Originally Posted by randybenham
