Well today wasn't any better, went back to M. Point today because it was going to be windy out of the south. At least on MP we could get out of the wind. We only had 3 keeper crappie and a bass. Hopefully thing will pickup by next weekend.

Jerry, I think you burned up your great days awhile back, should have saved one or two of them....lol......sorry you couldn't get your grandson on some fish, them little ones really enjoy that..... We didn't do so well either, went to toledo saturday and didn't boat a single fish. Good luck today on your trip.
You can't fish with a hung line!

A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Well Jerry, that's not the kind of news that I'm wanting to hear...Hope it picks up at MP. I'll probably be giving CC a try sometime soon. So....what's the good word about CC these days???
JohnR went over last week and didn't get a bit on rosey's. Said the grass was something fierce as well.
After reading about this on one of the other boards, I wonder if you took a rake and cleaned the grass out of a couple of holes. Then went back later to fish them.Originally Posted by bobberwatcher

I confirmed with JohnR. Dang grass has taken over the place. Said it looks alot like coontail moss.
Moss and weeds were pretty thick going back left from the boat ramp at CC. Also, the water is very clear. I gave up and tried the other end of the lake, but no luck.![]()
