    Default Beaver Bite?


    Any of you beaver lake boys been out in the last couple of days? After last week I cancelled my 2 days this week and moved them to next week. Will try it again Wensday? Thanks guys

    Water temp has dropped over 10 degrees since last week. It's like starting all over again! Just stick with pre-spawn methods and all should be fine!

    Default Beaver Bit!!!!

    OH YEAH BOYS!!!! They are biting like CHAMPIONS....didn't mess with one single dink....caught 7 real nice slab crappies, all about 11" and caught 3 nice 13" kentucky bass....in the MISERABLE conditions,,,,I DID get pictures and they will be posted ASAP tomorrow, just got in (11 p.m.) and i'm tired, wet, and cold and have to get up in 4.5 hrs.....just thought I'd let you know the true DIEHARD in me came out tonight, we fished until about 930 or so.....all within 1/2 mile of Hickory Creek Marina----I'll post details with pics tomorrow~

    Went out Monday for about an hour only caught one, about 12". It sure beat sitting at home. Fishing has slowed down for me, too cold.

    Yeah just discovered this site a few days ago, been reading. You guys seem to be a bunch of nice guys. I figured I would join. I started crappie fishing a few years ago and decided to hit it hard this year. Can't wait for the bite to get back on. Looking forward to talking to you guys and learning some stuff I didn't know...

    The bite is STILL on so I can only imagine what happens when the water temperature gets up around 63 again it will do, hahaha~! Good luck...you fish from the bank primarily or you got a boat? Have a good one, MM

    Unfortunatly I fish from the bank. But soon to change. I can't seem to get the numbers that i got a couple of weeks ago. I need to try something different.

    Here's what we did today in Tropical storm force winds!
    The two crappie in the middle were over 16" long. We even got a walleye!

    WHOA PIPER! That's great man, you say tropical force winds I know this is a fact I felt JB Hunt Corporate from the fourth floor move, the corporate pond was even white-capping!!!! Great catch man, I'm flat impressed...and THAT is dedication to your customers, props to them for sticking it out with you turned out with a NICE mess of fish...teach me how to catch a walleye J.T. I'll pay for a trip if you think you can guide me on them...I want to learn there feeding habits THAT bad on Beaver....later man!~MM
