my friend has a little plastic pelican boat with a trolling motor...I was thinking of taking it to a lake near me? Does it have to have numbers and all that stuff? Registration? I want to take it but I didnt know...Figured someone here would.

Here's the first paragraph of the above link :

    Registering a Motor Boat
Boats propelled by sail or motor (including trolling motors) of any type must be registered when operated on public waters. You must have an Arkansas Certificate of Number (registration) and validation decals to operate a motorboat on Arkansas’ public waters.

CP is correct - if it has any form of motor on it, it should be licensed. If you leave the TM at home and paddle it then you're OK. Now if your friend were to sell you the boat, and would provide you with a Bill of Sale, you could legally operate the boat for a limited period of time without registering it, which would give you a chance to try it out and determine whether or not you would want to continue using your friends boat.

Where are you going? I got my crappie sense back last weekend been catching them every time I go. Need to hook up with you again. But I'm not promising any crappie O.K. I'll say let's go fishing. Did put two condos out week and a half ago, caught 62 fish off of them and putting three more in the morning. So we need to hook up again.

Well if bass would have been crappie last time we went we would have done alright!

    62 fish! WOW!

I caught 12 bass last night at shadow lake... one of them weighed 4.2....
And a red ear that weighed over a pound...
I'm begining to think that lake has no crappie...
