It's supposed to be windy, with some thundershowers. I think to get out of the wind I'll go to Lake Wallace, you can always find a place out of the wind. I haven't been yet this year, but they should be hitting in the shallows around the cypress trees. Hope everyone finds a place to go, good luck to y'all.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

I'm not fishing tomorrow. I have been informed to do some honeydo's. I am going to go to Reelfoot Sunday to fish if work doesn't call me.

I'm green with envy over your trip on Sunday. I'd love to get over there to Reelfoot. I hope you load the cooler...

And best of luck to you Jerry. You never know what you might find with trying a different place...Do you have an idea about the drink of choice for those Lake Wallace crappie? I'd hate for you to be unprepared...:D

Greeson for sure. Here's a couple of pics to share.

This young'an was very proud of what he was able to land all by himself.

Well.....I gave it a try this morning, for a little while. Stayed close to home, and I am glad I did. The bottom fell out a little while ago, and I just got home. We did catch a few for the couple of hours we got to fish though.

Stayed at the house today watching the youngerns. Will probably run over to my uncle's pond tomorrow with the girls. He has stocked it up with crappie and bluegill and interested to see how big they have gotten.

Just got back from Wallace, caught one little bass. It's getting rough out. Will probably go to M. Point tomorrow.

I am going back to Midway tomorrow. I had a good morning Friday and since it is my lake of choice I guess it is time to fish them hard before the weather changes midweek.
