Default A beautiful day to be on the lake today (Pics)

You really don't get days like this in March very often, It was beautiful. It was just about too warm, but nice. I fished Morgan Point today with my cousin, it was slow most of the day but picked up between 10 am and 1 pm, we caught most of our fish then, and then a few later before we left. The fish we caught were good ones with a 2 lb 1 oz. slab for the biggest, but had several close to 2. We caught the first 3 on jigs close to the bank, all males, and the rest were caught in 10-11 ft, of water over structure throwing roadrunners. We ended up keeping 22 crappie and 2 channel cats. We saw Ceb out there this afternoon and he caught some nice fish. It was just a great day to be out there, hope everyone got to go.

    A sunrise pic.

    Another beautiful sunrise pic.

    Robert with a good crappie.

    Our catch.

A couple of the good ones.

Hope everyone had a good day today.

Jerry, beautiful pics and nice fish. Today was a sure nice one to be out there after them. Just curious, do your arms ever get tired of holding up those slabs in every pic you post?

Jerry, you need to see if they would like a cheaper brand of beer. Might save you a little on attractant........ Nice looking mess of fish there. I am still jealous. We went today to a place where we used to do real well, not a crappie in the marsh. Still had fun though.
You can't fish with a hung line!

Stump......looks like you had a good day. Mine wasn't that good. We ended up catching a few, but not as many as you did. You were right about it being a beautiful day though. I must have been doing something wrong. I guess I should have took busch lite instead of Bud light.

Helmslaw, those 2 lbers aren't too hard on me, I'm wanting to see if I could hold a couple of 3 lbers.

There were quite a few boats there today, when we came out some of the trucks were parked on the grass, so I guess the parking lot had filled up sometimes during the day.
