    Default Fishing after work


    My friend from work and I went to Morgan Point after work today. We started fishing about 4 oclock and quit at 6:30 and ended up keeping 15 good crappie. Caught them casting roadrunners.

    Todays catch.

    Awesome pics Jerry!!! That's some good action for only a few hours fishing. Your going to have to teach me how to fish them roadrunners sometime.

    Pretty fish...darling little girl too...
    I read about guys, mainly L.A. Stumpjumper, slammin em with RR's and I realize that maybe I haven't given them a fair shot. I have caught crappie on them, but mainly when it was great fishin. I just never developed a lot of confidence in them. I need to change that. Lord knows that I've got a few of em.

    are they still in deeper water over there or have they moved shallow? i am thinking of heading that way this weekend.

    Well Stumpjumper, I think that I will have to forget the cane creek run next week and get with you on this morgan point. I never see more fish consistantly on this part of the site without knowing who it is.

    HawgPharm, I've been doing good in 10-11ft. over structure, and also catching males up by the bank. I think you could do good either way this weekend. I'll be there this weekend in a War Eagle ducks unlimited boat, holler at me if you see me. Good luck.
